The Liberty Market Dublin, Ireland. The Liberty Market on Meath Street and Thomas Street are like stepping back in time to a pre Celtic Tiger Ireland. The Liberties has a real sense of community where old friends spend as much time chatting as they do shopping. The area could be the last pocket of resistance to the homogenization of Dublin. The market sells great value fruit and vegetables and a selection of knock-offs and out-of-date goods. The markets are held every Thursday to Saturday. Pictures by James Horan
